Music Toys Galore
Aug. 7th, 2008 09:05 amKVR (your indispensable one-stop shop for all music software info) alerts us that E-MU Systems, in advance of their releasing the next generation of their music modules, is giving away the Proteus VX module and the Composer Bank of presets. You have to sign up for their e-mail list.
Sadly, it's PC only, but there are many other interesting listings, including new versions of Reaper(PC/PC64-bit/Mac) and Rosegarden (Linux). If you make music with your computer and you don't check out KVR, you're definitely missing stuff.
Anything cool on your music horizon?
ETA: Apologies to anyone who wasted some bandwidth and downloaded the Proteus and the 7 MB .PDF manual, which is part of the main program's frickin' archive. Thanks for telling us that, E-MU.
