I'm working on a bunch of stuff today (not the least of which is a FuMP song to be posted tonight). One thing is the web page.

I keep going back and forth on layout (and THANK FSM that I've got a reasonably solid template system at this stage, so I only have to change THAT and then upload the pages again). And that's what I wanted to ask you guys about.

See, I'm pretty happy with the new layout.

Kinda.

Part of me really likes having the nav bar at the top, and using the whole width of the page (well, 750 pixels, don't wanna make it loopy-stupid wide) for text. But part of me also likes sidebar navigation.

Part of me is intrigued at the notion of a sidebar, probably on the right, for various and sundry (such as the graphic links I have on the lower middle-right of the main page, which could be propagated to all pages, along with links to Digg, Delicious, Facebook, StumbleUpon, etc).

And part of me really wants to be able to goof with the overall page with CSS (as demonstrated by the highest expression of the art of which I am aware, CSS Zen Garden).

And I still keep wondering if having a comment system, such as with WordPress, would be a good idea.

Thoughts? And, I admit it: any comments on the current version of the site, yea or nay, would be very much appreciated.

The arguments against same-sex marriage are getting more and more ludicrous, but this is getting into seriously whacked-out territory. I can't even intelligently summarize it -- just go look.
