The Bluest Skies You've Ever Seen
Jan. 29th, 2010 10:26 amSo here I is at ConFlikt. The train trip was very pleasant, my liaison Jen prompt and splendid and stuff, and my first view of Mt. Ranier really frickin' impressive. Damn, that is a huge, beautiful, horizon-filling mountain.
The only issue at this point is sleep or lack thereof, 'cause the train bed isn't that comfy -- but I've already been situated in a nice hotel room, hung with lovely people (including Alexander James Adams,

Looks as if it'll be a busy weekend -- I'm doing some recording this afternoon, Opening Ceremonies, there are concerts tonight, I've got a panel or two tomorrow, my main set is tomorrow night, and of course the open filking. The really good thing is I don't have to leave until Monday afternoon, which means I can sleep a lot Sunday night.
