The Bluest Skies You've Ever Seen

So here I is at ConFlikt. The train trip was very pleasant, my liaison Jen prompt and splendid and stuff, and my first view of Mt. Ranier really frickin' impressive. Damn, that is a huge, beautiful, horizon-filling mountain.

The only issue at this point is sleep or lack thereof, 'cause the train bed isn't that comfy -- but I've already been situated in a nice hotel room, hung with lovely people (including Alexander James Adams, jenrose1 and admnaismith), had fine Pad Thai, and received an adorable li'l mini stuffed bear from the concom so Da Bear has a new baby brudder.

Looks as if it'll be a busy weekend -- I'm doing some recording this afternoon, Opening Ceremonies, there are concerts tonight, I've got a panel or two tomorrow, my main set is tomorrow night, and of course the open filking. The really good thing is I don't have to leave until Monday afternoon, which means I can sleep a lot Sunday night.
