FRIGHT NIGHT Remake Trailer

Holy crap, this actually does look like scary fun. Gonna be tough, though -- the original is a classic, one of the best combining humor and horror. Can Colin Ferrell out-Sarandon Chris Sarandon? Can David Tennant, wonder though he is, possibly live up to the reputation of Roddy McDowall's Peter Vincent? Can those two ladies -- the girlfriend and the mom -- be any sexier? Nah, I didn't think so either. And what of Evil Ed?

A Slightly Tougher Audience Than The Sunday Morning Talking Heads

Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-MN) has been challenged to a debate/fact test on civics and the U.S. Constitution by a tenth-grade student.

I love the idea of having it hosted and moderated by Rachel Maddow. But I bet it's not going to happen. As was pointed out in the post, "Bachmann is famously reluctant to put herself in positions where she might have to talk to someone who disagrees with her."
