Stephen J. Cannell, Farewell
Oct. 1st, 2010 07:34 pmSadness. Legendary TV writer and producer Stephen J. Cannell has passed away at the age of 69.
He was involved with an almost ridiculous number of shows, especially Baretta, The Rockford Files, Adam-12, The Greatest American Hero, The A-Team, 21 Jump Street, Silk Stalkings, Wiseguy, Renegade, The Black Sheep Squadron, and The Commish. Dude knew how to make a popular show, and how to write characters you cared about. Farewell, good scribe.

Date: 2010-10-02 03:31 am (UTC)I haven't watched TV in years but Stephen Cannell was a name I knew immediately. I remember liking his shows a lot. Greatest American Hero, Rockford Files and many others I just loved them.
A great artist he will be missed.
