Helping A Friend Of A Friend

In keeping with the last post, bayushisan informs us of a friend of his, a photographer in Canada, who is trying to help a family from India that has just moved into her building. They have very little and the wife is nine months pregnant. They don't know many people, and are culture-shocked. If you can help, that would be most excellent. Go here for more info.

I've known this artist for a while now and she's a real sweet lady. She does photo manipulation art and some other computer art. She's very good too.

Anyway she's absolutely sincere on this and I really just wanted to put the word out to people that I figured would be open to doing what they can. The more people who lend a hand the easier it is to pull someone up. :)

Thanks for posting this. My immediate circle of friends is rallying around one of ours who lost it all in an apartment fire (couple of brats playing with matches in the garbage chute), but I put it out on my Facebook since I seem to recall that a friend's friend is in the Toronto area. =)
