You can listen to the whole show at Dr. Demento dot com.  Two bucks for decent-quality streaming, four bucks for high-quality streaming, over two and a half hours of funny music!

That's so weird to see.

Three-fifths of those 25 are FuMP songs, and one of the ones you didn't tag has had a FuMPified version. (And Kip Adotta's "Wet Dream" is older than some of the artists.) I guess it just seems strange that one clique — admittedly an awesome one — is responsible for so much of the year's best funny music.

Dr.Demento is still on? I heard it's no longer on the radio.

Sorry you didn't get any on the F25 this year. I was going to say you didn't have any new albums last year, but #13 and #10 were released decades ago. (along with some others)

I'm listening to the FuMP podcast now. (You can find it by going to the FuMP website.) It made me think about how the internet is changing the music business. Tom, do you think the concept of an album is becoming obsolete? With music downloads, we don't need to fill up a tape or LP or CD anymore. Downloading 5 songs is pretty much the same as downloading 25 or 50. I know albums are traditional and they have the advantage of being able to group songs together under one name, but are they as necessary as they once were?

Do you think more people would be doing things like FuMP or Songhenge (Marc Gunn's archive of independent Celtic music) where you pay a fee for access?
