A whole bunch of really great people are rockin' the house at GAFilk tonight. I hope everyone made it there safely, I hope you all get home safely, and I hope that in between you have a superb weekend, filled with fun and music. Who all's down there? Or, if you're not down there, what are your weekend plans? I'm working on a not-very-top-secret project, hee hee.

I'd like to get through the weekend without anything bad happening. I don't mean BIG bad things just little every day things, like colds, migraines, falls, etc. Cosmos our local music store is hiring cashiers. I have to polish, write? do something about a resume and cover letter for that.

High expectations? not here.

Oops, I read it too fast. Had to run to pick up a pizza and I missed that detail. Anyway I want to rest up. I have another interview Monday. The universe apparantally wants me to work in the Loop again and at an office building I worked in before.

Norwescon concom meeting, possibly snow on Sunday; I just finished a new Trad O' th' Week Fortnight Month and will get that online for the mailing list, and I'm going to make a Kickstarter project for a CD duplicator. Fingers crossed!

This weekend is relax, re-organize, and wrap up a few last loose-ends...

There's a birthday party I'm going to on Saturday and I have a friend coming over to help with the aforementioned "re-organizing" on Sunday.

Tonight, cleaning the kitchen after making a double batch of lasagna. Will run dishwasher at bedtime. Saturday, more cleaning (clean oven, clean bathrooms, vacuum condo, file paperwork). Sunday, work (patching production servers to latest patch release of the software).

I'm there--and I got roped into the "My Filk" game. Thankfully, the instafilk that decadentdave and Ellen Kranzer and I came up with (topics: "Beer" and "Chess"; we came up with a sea shanty about a game of drunken chess) managed to score us a win. Yay.
