I love the idea, but Bruce Wayne go to a public school? That's hard to imagine. It'd have been a security nightmare for Alfred.

Wasn't this basic idea what eventually evolved into Batman Beyond? (Which was a MUCH better take on the idea than this looks to have been.)

Interesting. But I don't think it would have worked. It reminds me of X-men Evolution, but the characters knew who were mutants. The idea that Bruce was Batman would come out quickly and the criminals would have to stay secret or get kicked out of school. Batman Beyond did it much better.

Yeah, another thing the world doesn't need: "Batman Babies."
As others have said, Batman Beyond was an intelligently-done version of the concept, cancelled before its prime as is often the case with most DC Animated Universe series. (I said most and meant most; I'm looking at you, Legion of Super-Heroes, not with blame but with pity.)
