Man, even one day on the road can bankrupt your pants. I'll check LJ stuff later. I'm here at MarsCon in Williamsburg, VA, and already got hugs from Janny and nice vibes and help from the con. And I've got a set at 7:45 and another at 11:00 (the Filk and Cookies is later than I thought). I'm pretty sure I have a table at Artists' Alley, and I'll be hanging out there a lot this weekend. How's your weekend lookin'?

Longer than I thought; I forgot I get MLK's birthday off, and that it's this Monday. :-) Crafting Saturday morning, grocery shopping Saturday afternoon, a UK travel planning session Saturday night, then joining up with jcbemis and fla_sunshine on Sunday for "Wonderland" and the rest. I've made no plans for Monday yet, but at this point I think I probably shouldn't.

Tiring... I have to be up early on Sat for a major upgrade at work (which was not helped by getting an extra 30 hours in Atlanta at GaFilk), but Sunday is going to be family (and then Monday is looking to be interesting consulting.) Setting up a replacement laptop for a friend.

I also have to do some minimal audio editing (request for a copy of a GaFilk concert from the performer.)

Bike trainer purchased and assembled so I hope to ride in the warmth of my spare room tomorrow. I tried riding in the cold. My knees protested.

Other than trying to get back on the exercise bandwagon, concom meeting, work, laundry and fun stuff like that. Three day weekend that already looks packed.

I had a dentist appointment this morning... but that's boring. ;-)

My plan for the weekend is to have fun at MarsCon. I've seen some friends, some concerts, and a fairly large chunk of Dominion Tank Police...

I was hoping to stay up later and go to parties and Rocky Horror and stuff, but I'm too tired to do more today. Tomorrow, I should have more energy and a distinct lack of dentistry, though. :-)

Got my GRE test at 8am tomorrow morning (ick) followed by a whole lot of Harry Potter reading (I swore I'd read the entire series before the spring semester). Later my Mage game will run till the whee hours in the morning.

Working Saturday (as usual), but Sunday I'm running an RPG for my nephews (ages 12 and 15). Their first game ever, my second as GM!!!

Well last weekend before the new job. Had an RPG last night which was loads of fun. Plenty of actual role playing and no combat. Let myself sleep in before I adjust my sleep schedule for the new working hours (not much of a change, just getting OUT of bed instead of slowly getting up over the next 90 minutes).

Going to work on the DucKon site today since we have a meeting tomorrow.

Just got home last night from a week-long business trip (which itself came right off of GAFilk).

Planning on spending this weekend (including the holiday on Monday) doing as little walking as I possibly can. I think I've averaged about 5 miles a day over the past week. Most of it in dress shoes. My feet are about ready to put in a request to be transplanted.

I bought some fabric to make a vest. Maybe tomorrow I'll cough up enough oomph to cut it out. Since it's sleeveless it should sew up fairly easily.
