As far as the world stage is concerned, Sadat was not an unmitigated disaster. His domestic policies may have had some major problems, but he also won the Nobel Peace Prize for a reason.
Look, all I'm saying is that after the Egyptians are done fighting each other with swords and bows we'll send the Hittites in to clean up. Then we'll introduce iron, chariots, and a new version of their alphabet and everything will get better!!!
