First: Today, Congress is holding a hearing on Net Neutrality. Tomorrow, Public Knowledge wants people to call their congresscritter and tell them to keep the internet free and wide open. For more info, click on the graphic below.

Second: In their wild-eyed zeal to cut everything in the budget that might be helpful to regular people, Congressional Republicans want to eliminate funding to NPR and PBS. Given that 170 million Americans use those resources every month, it may not be a good idea.

Paper letters get more attention than phone calls get more attention than e-mails. At this point, however, time may be too short for a paper letter to arrive.
