Very Cool Online Music Tools
Feb. 16th, 2011 10:51 amOkay, time to lighten up a bit. StumbleUpon led me to Key Chords, a nifty little Flash tool to help you audition chord progressions. Pick a key, drag some chords to the big white space, click Play, and it loops for you. Even if you don't know guitar at all, it's fun.
Unfortunately, there may end up being a mad science war because of my noticing it: one of the other nifty tools on the site is a drummer to practice with, called Drumbot.
doctorpinkerton, please, put DOWN the death ray and step away from the gravity bombs!
(Guitarists who want free drumming software to play along with while avoiding a potential worldwide conflagration might want to try Riffworks T4 instead.)
Any cool music you've heard or written lately? Link 'em up.

Date: 2011-02-16 06:57 pm (UTC)Go to the "songs" link at the top of the page, and you can year a song written (or at least first uploaded) minutes or even just seconds ago, and you can be the first person on Earth (aside from the original musician) to hear something amazingly cool. Or bloody awful. Luck of the draw. It's kind of like a worldwide filk circle!

Cool, mp3s of comic songs arriving already. I should add you MUST own copyright or have express permission of any co-owners (publisher etc.)
The podcast is to be a platform for new/jobbing comic songwriters, so don't just start sending me your Bonzos rarities...
