New link. I think I like this version better than the one Lars Erickson did. I'm not sure about any copyright infringement. 32 notes played in the same order are going to sound similar.

Let's be clear--was the claim that the video was taken from somebody, or that the underlying music was copyrighted?

Because if it's the former, that's fair--the performance can be copyrighted. But if someone was claiming copyright over "playing pi," well, then we have a problem...

And I agree... the person who's claiming copyright wrote something called the 'Pi Symphony' which is very similar sounding. Because, well, the notes are the same, amazingly enough.
