Let's be clear--was the claim that the video was taken from somebody, or that the underlying music was copyrighted?
Because if it's the former, that's fair--the performance can be copyrighted. But if someone was claiming copyright over "playing pi," well, then we have a problem...
And I agree... the person who's claiming copyright wrote something called the 'Pi Symphony' which is very similar sounding. Because, well, the notes are the same, amazingly enough.
