More-or-less ahead financially. Over the moon emotionally. Dead tired physically. Whatever any of you want to talk about, I'll look at it in the morning. Or afternoon. I hope your Labor Day weekend went as well as mine did. :)

The highland games I went to were successful financially for me. I more than made costs. In addition, I'm set to do more festivals in the next 6 weeks.

One comment about your concerts was that they were good. (Any chance of us getting to hear them in the future?)

As for the weekend, I ended up delivering a working (now fixed!) new computer to my mother on Saturday, saw some family I normally get to see once a year on Sunday, and collapsed today and got some unexpected tech support in this evening. (Its covering part of my OVFF travel costs.)

The Sunday evening concert was definitely the best one. But in all the concerts, I must say your voice sounded great! Better than last time a DragonCon. What's your secret? Aren't voices supposed to get worse with time? Color me impressed.
My carload of three listened to your new CDs all the way home (well, after we got off the airplane) and a great time was had by all. ;

Thanks so much for the kind words, and for hitting all the concerts. :) I've been working on my vocals, and I still have a lot of work yet to do, but bluntly the big thing was spending most of the past year singing along with Dr. Horrible and Sweeney Todd and JoCo at top volume. I actually gained just a touch, maybe a half-note, at the top of my range, just enough to make "Rocket Ride" and a few other songs smoother, and I think my tone has been improving.

it was AWESOME getting to meet you in person (so sayeth the other mobility gimp)

I did get to hear you sing Rocket Ride after the SuperGate panel over at the Hyatt but never made it back over to any of the concerts or even back down to your table (tho, I didn't even make it back down to that FLOOR after Sunday) to get the other CDs.

guess I'll have to buy them online once my wallet recovers from the con :-/

It was awesome seeing you again, and you kicked unholy butt in all the concerts I saw. And it was fun to see you practically bouncing up and down in your chair in the International Ballroom concert after you played the Awards banquet. :)

I had a great con other than the getting sick thing, and I was startled but pleased at the responses I got for my costume.
