Joe Bethancourt Needs Help

From osewalrus by way of keristor, we hear that a member of the family is in need. Longtime folker and filker Joe Bethancourt and his wife Cher have lost their house to a fire. The pets got out, the musical instruments are okay, but apparently there's not much else left.

AMAZ Radio is putting together a benefit concert for them this Saturday. They've also got a PayPal Donate button on their front page if you want to contribute.

Thanks for the heads-up about the donation button. I've been a fan of Joe's for more than 25 years, and I'd heard about the fire, but wouldn't be able to attend the benefit concert.
