Sadness. Actor Jeff Conaway, best known for his roles in Grease and the TV shows Taxi and Babylon 5, has passed away at the age of 60.

I got to meet and talk with Jeff shortly after the wrap of B5, he was in the midst of one of his periods of recovery and had been pulling things back together. Sadly, that was not to last and The latest chance he had was, I feel, exploited by the very folks who claimed to wish to help him.
A tragic end and I pray he has now found peace.

I met him when they were filming BJ & the Bear down the street from me. He was really nifty to a grade-school kid, and he was really nice when I met him again in my 20s at a StarQuest, briefly.
