So at this point he's basically violated the public's trust & shown that they can't trust his word. That's a DQ.

Date: 2011-06-07 06:06 pm (UTC)I don't care what Weiner does online, so long as he's not being creepy about it. All those women who have come forward thus far confirm his claim that it was consensual. If his wife is OK with it, fine.
I am pissed at him, though, because New York state loses two Congressional seats in 2012, and he's just hung the great big bullseye on his chest to be redistricted out of his seat. The GOP will pick up seven or eight seats on Census-driven redistricting overall nationwide, which means effective liberal leaders like Weiner will be that much more necessary.

The old 32 are also being redrawn so long-time Democrat Doggett has been dropped into a hideously gerrymandered pro-Republican district. The net result will be Republicans +4, barring a truly tremendous anti-Perry landslide in 2012.
