Damn, that impressive.

And as a master-class costumer, all I can say is, I hope there's a quick-release for the lower parts so he can go to the bathroom.

...why yes, I learned that lesson the hard way, why do you ask? :)

There's always the solution NASA uses in spacesuits...

You *were* aware that NASA invented the disposable diaper, weren't you?

How did he get past the metal detector?

Doesn't the convention have rules about not point weapons (even obviously fake weapons) at people? If so how is he going to shake hands without the arm mounted flame throwers being pointed at the person he's greeting?

Without seeing construction details, can you be sure it's metal? I've seen some amazing things done with paint, and the welding lines could be faked as well.

Certainly, it'd be easier to do that way, both from the perspective of wearing it for a few hours, and from the budgeting side.

Based on the thickness of the armour plates and the fact he can move at all, either they aren't really metal, or it's a real powered exoskeleton.

I just got a brand new Dremel tool for my birthday. I really shouldn't be watching videos like this: they give me entirely too many ideas!

Very impressive. Interesting that they scrambled the face of the guy in the suit. But the big question is...can he fly? :D
