Game Deals At Direct2Drive and Big Fish

Direct2Drive is having a month-long sale with different deals every day. Today's deals include Assassin's Creed 2, PC or Mac versions, for $7.95, Dragon Age: Origins for the PC for $11.95, and The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion - Game Of The Year Deluxe Edition (with all the official DLC) for the PC for $8.25.

Also, last week I used up two long-hoarded credits at Big Fish to get a couple of inexpensive winners: Herofy, a match-3 game with both puzzle and RPG elements, and Musaic Box, a music puzzle game nestled comfortably in a hidden object game. Both lots of fun.

It's already past :( Yesterday Bigfish ran a game special for the Fourth that reduced all of their games from $6.99 to $4.99. I took advantage of it.

I've been using GameFly--the Netflix of gaming.

Completely satisfied. Good disks, turn-around time only a few days longer than Netflix, comparable pricing ($16/month for one game out, eight dollars more for two), and new games can be ordered pre-launch to be mailed on their release date.

You don't get the manuals, but there are often pdfs online.

You can also buy them and keep the disks if you think they're that good.

Currently playing Infamous 2 with Duke Nukem up next.

Champions Online is available to play for free at Steam - http://store.steampowered.com/app/9880/ - they try to get you to buy extra stuff, but it it easy enough to ignore that part and just enjoy the game.
