It is sad that so many folk live in the "I'm alright" universe in which as long as they are ok it's not a problem. This quickly falls apart when "they are NOT ok" but by then it doesn't matter because they are then part of the group that "doesn't matter".
Well said. However I would focus my rage on those who actively want to dismantle our safety net rather than those who would give in to such demands as a "compromise".
You can't negotiate with crazy people, but perhaps one can strengthen the resolve of those who are in fear of the corporate machine. Obama is not and never will be a leader, but he can follow well enough.
