This looks like it's going to be awesome. I was suitably impressed by the first movie, and this one looks like it has the potential to be just as good.

I'm sorry, but with that title it looks like the screenplay should have been written by Sir George R.R. Conan Doyle.

....

I remember the days when slash fans had to watch shows and movies and make do with a look here, a word there, a gesture, a bit of background business - threads, little threads, that we'd piece together into a non-textual relationship.

These days the creators of the source materials are throwing entire friggin' bolts of rainbow-colored silk to us and chanting, "Go! Go! Make kimonos!"

I have seen naked men simulate sex in a gay-vampire play in a San Francisco theater, and THAT was less homoerotic than that trailer. I am Not Complaining.

Hee hee. 'Sfunny -- I just the other day found a torrent of the older film version of Sleuth, the one with Sir Laurence Olivier and Michael Caine (as opposed to Caine and Jude Law). Love love love that film, and now I can see where it could be slashed this way and that. Amazing work by both men.

Oh yeah, Sleuth was freakin' amazing. A brilliant script, one set, and two people acting their lungs out. And I adore Michael Caine.

Alas, the trailer is unnwatchable. In three different browsers it either tells me to get Quicktime, or, if I choose "download" I get a 1k file that's obviously not the trailer.

Youtube is rarely a problem. Apple is *always* a problem.
