Lovely pastiche. And it led me to Raiders of the Lost Ark done as a Popeye strip.

These go right along with the Harry Potter as anime and Disney we noted the other week. Any similar mash-ups out there we should know about?

Interesting that someone considers Makani's work to look so Disney-fied...I've been following her stuff for a while. One of the few peole who could humanize the Malfoy family and still make you remember that while they were evil, they also love each other. (I actually began to suspect that JKR may be a closet Makani fan...)

I know. It's not exactly Disney, but... it's got the right vibe. I think, out of all those portraits there, I love Luna's and then Hermione's the best.
