To heck with an English translation -- I want to see what the Literal Video people do with this.

Any particularly insane vids catch your eye lately? Link 'em up.

Oh, thank you so much for putting that in my head. Ryuzaki is perched shoeless on a director's chair; Light has the camera while wearing a baseball cap, a cigarette dangling from his lips....

And Ryuk is in his trailer, eating apples.

Oh the apples just -killed- me, and then the image would not go away!

Fair enough; henceforth I will not say Lady Gaga is weird.

Instead I shall say Lady Gaga is Japanese.

Katy Perry too.

All we need is for Lady Gaga to start getting ideas from things like this. (How can I vomit live birds during a show?)

Lady Gaga IS weird -- this chick just seems to be channeling Pee-Wee Herman. (Seriously. That set looks like it came straight from Pee-Wee's Playhouse.)

Weird Al's parody of "Born This Way" :

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ss_BmTGv43M

I think it's his best song (and best video) since "Amish Paradise"

Definitely the best song on the album (and first on the CD). I liked White & Nerdy better. The costume changes he does in "Perform This Way" is over the top. The video definitely benefited from modern CGI.

I want to combine "White & Nerdy" with "Perform This Way" into a computer song called, "Program This Way".

Ok. Two things. First, I get the pile of American packaged junk food like Fiddle Faddle and Wonka candies.
WHY is it topped with a HUGE box of Kraft Macaroni & Cheese? Yeah, it's arguably junk food but it's not what I'd call a candy treat.

Second, where there're some odd blips elsewhere in the video, like the animal skull that shoots colors & the quick guest shot from Jason Voorhees' mask, what the HELL with the section from 1:11-1:24 starting with the floating skulls, then the giant bone, then the flock of ravens, and finishing with the bleeding, melting eyeball?
I mean, really, WHAT?

Lady Gaga is weird. This kind of thing is so far beyond weird it may as well be plaid.

The rate of novel image ideas per minute is so incredibly high, that it made me wonder if there were any more novel ideas left over to use in the next video.

Lady Gaga also has a high rate of novel image ideas per minute in those videos of hers that I've seen, but I didn't think it was as high as this one's.

Um. Okay. If you snorted, like, an assload of Pixie Stix and powdered antihistamines mixed together, off of the back of a cane toad, and then played the movie Yellow Submarine backwards with the soundtrack of Eraserhead dubbed in instead - this is what you'd dream about 5 minutes after you passed out during the "Sea of Holes" sequence.

There's enough material in this vid for multiple reality shows, including several hoarder & clothes & hair makeover themed ones.
