Me At Dragon*Con (This Weekend!)

Here are my scheduled concerts for Dragon*Con:

• Friday 8:30 p.m. - Hyatt International South Ballroom
• Saturday 7:00 p.m. -- Hyatt International South Ballroom
• Sunday 11:00 a.m. - Hyatt Concourse Stage
• Sunday 8:30 p.m. - Hyatt International North Ballroom

This schedule is subject to change, although I suspect it's not likely to. And I'm also unofficially on a Babylon 5 panel sometime Sunday. I'll have more updates here, and at my musicians' table over at the Marriott. Hope to see you there!

Think I'm gonna see you at all your concerts (schedule at Dragon*Con just worked out that way somehow). Don't know about the Babylon 5 panel but eh...gah can't wait!

There is a Babylon 5 panel on Saturday at 7 PM in Intenational North, which is the same time that Tom is scheduled to perform in International South. So not sure if Tom can do it (he may have to go into North, do his song, then walk over to do the rest of his concert in South :-)

I'm going to get some face time with the parents this weekend. Hope to leave on Friday evening. Might come back Sunday depending on how BORED I get. (Dad knows there's not much to do there anymore since what few friends I had either moved out or lost touch.) I may drive up to the old college to look around or maybe on the way back take a side trip. Not sure yet.

PS I want to vent a little about auto-email systems. I went to a game company site because they just released a game I may be interested in trying (Tropico 4). I clicked around and found a broken link. So I do the decent thing and email them about it. I got an auto-response about how my email couldn't be classified. Well FU! I took the time to tell you about a problem and you just ignore me because you can't acknowledge the possibility that your site might not be perfect. [venting off] Tom, I'm glad you're more responsive about broken links. Someone says a news article you linked to is broken, you fix it right away. That's awesome. Sometimes you need to see how badly it can be handled to appreciate it when it's handled correctly.

Thanks -- I hope so to. The biggest one is always trying to get upstairs (because of the jammed elevators) from the third basement in the Hyatt, which is where both the filk room and the motor pool are. If I didn't have to go down there, there wouldn't be a problem.

I will be stalking seeing you at all four concerts, if I can. Most of my time is either empty or double/triple booked. It should be a good con, and a MUCH needed break for me after the last two months.
