On the off-chance that you didn't have good internet over the weekend (like I didn't) and hadn't yet seen it:

That is right up there with the all time great awards show moments...which for me, is pretty much Hugh Jackman in gold pants. :-)

Totally awesome.

I had great internet over the weekend but didn't really care about the Emmys. On the other hand, if I'd have known this would be on . . . well I probably would have waited for you to post it anyway. :)

They have to get NPH to host the Oscars next year, so he can get the trifecta. :-)

This was one of a number of highly amusing aspects of the Emmys this time out; another was that NPH introduced many, many of the presenters by citing their most obscure and embarrassing possible credits (frex, Hayden Panettiere was announced by mentioning her voice role in Scooby Doo and the Goblin King). And the Emmy voiceover announcer carried over the shtick into many of his comments on the winners as they took the stage.

Easily the best-staged Emmys in years.

Watching at the school library and have no sound...but even with no sound, it's funny! I hope I get to hear it with sound soon. :)

I don't bother watching the Emmy's, or network TV at all for that matter. But for that, I would have watched them. Very entertaining.

TV? I am trying to remember when the last time I turned mine on was. (Definately before the time change in the spring... Since the VCR is still on the wrong time.)

Actually, that was John Hodgman who did the Voiceover Announcing, where he just made things up completely about the winners.

Too bad you couldn't hear him well due to the music swelling so loud.

What I want is an MP3 of the "Put Down The Remote" song NPH did at the top- the one I heard on NPR driving home from AWA Monday. It's pure dementia.

I can't decide who I'd rather marry...Captain Hammer or Doctor Horrible.

Hammer's got that cheezy adorableness, but Doctor Horrible has that geeky charm!

And there's the problem with the "couple" mentality as opposed to a "triple" mentality. Marry both at the same time! Besides, Hammer/Horrible is full of secual tension anyhow.
