I've been so distracted this past few weeks that I haven't mentioned our old friend Zander Nyrond, smallship1 has a new/old album. The Filk of Human Kindness, a complete rerecording/reimagining of his first solo album, is now available for both listening and purchase at Bandcamp.

Any new/old/cool music of yours we need to know about?

Is it me or has filk albums becoming more infrequent lately. Maybe I'm not looking in the right spots. I prefer actual CDs (which people can autograph and don't care if my hard drive decides to stop working), but I'll take downloads if that's the only option. I'll take a listen to this one tonight if I have the time.

How about you, Tom? How are your upcoming albums doing? Any concerts after Conclave?

I am trying to finish commissioned songs, both so that they can be delivered and done and off my plate and so I can assemble Sins of Commission 3. I am trying to find my concerts from ConText and DragonCon; trouble finding those files. Once I'm done with all that, full bore into Herbert West and Girl Genius. And TomBoat II at Windy, this time with (I hope) good recordings from the board, which is why that thing has taken so long. I'll also record what should be a highly eclectic set at ChamBanaCon.

My ConClave concert at 5:00 will include clarinet contributions by the amazing Mary Crowell, as well as fiddly bits bythe amazing Amy McNally. And since Amy doesn't have a concert of her own this weekend, she'll be doing some red-hot solo fiddling as a bonus for people who attend.

Working on 1-2 audio projects for OVFF, interfilk table CDs ... (IDing the audio before I start the permission challenges.) One is from OVFF 1994 and will require about 20-30 permissions.

Another was recorded @ Contata 2011 and I think we have permissions on that one. (If not, its an email to the performers.)
