Already underway -- in fact, our friend peteralway has a concert right now, and a couple of panels tomorrow (including How To Play The Dulcimer). Seanan McGuire, Wild Mercy, Ray & Barb Van Tilburg, many many other friends.

My concert is tomorrow, Saturday, at 6:00 p.m. I've been lookin' forward to the weekend, weekend!

Who's gonna be there (or is already there)? Or, if not, what's your weekend plan?

Well tonight I'm hosting a game. Tomorrow I'm going to pay the mortgage and do other exciting things. I'll ask the vet if I can bring my cat in for a weigh-in and water injection. He's still not drinking AFAIK and looks really dehydrated. I am hoping the medicine will work, but this is day 3 I haven't seen a whole lot of change. Part of me wonders if his disease is too far along to turn back. Tonight I noticed some of his fur was matted since he can't groom himself much. I got some good clumps of hair off him. I'm not ready to give up just yet, but I'm losing hope.

We had biohazard t-shirts for all of us, in various colors. Seanan's was, of course, orange. So we became the Biohazard Backing Band for the evening and it was much fun.

Still attempting to wake up this morning... must become human at some point and go forth and socialize. :-)

That's the best video I've seen in, well at least a week or two.

I'm having a fine, fine time, and doing my best to help take care of The Blonde. :) I picked up Seanan at the airport Thursday, and took her to various spots in Ann Arbor, culminating in dinner at Zingerman's Roadhouse. Yesterday was the usual Friday of reconnecting with friends, including dinner at a Chinese restaurant, and the evening's socializing was nicely punctuated by opening ceremonies, and the Biohazard concert. (That's Seanan, backed by Wild Mercy.) I commuted, so I'll be heading back shortly.

My concert will be 10 AM Sunday. I was originally scheduled for 3:30 Sunday afternoon, but was asked to move (oh, twist my arm!) after Blade, who originally had the 10 AM slot, had to cancel (Boo!).

The one on the right is the common cold. The one on the left is a parasite called Leishmania. The one that's missing is gangrene.

And with this one, I proved that it is, in fact, possible to creep Seanan out.
