Yeah, yeah, but I'll miss "The Wonderful Wasp", the first super hero fashionista of the comics...

I haven't been paying too much attention to pop culture lately, but I'm guessing the woman in tight-fitting black leather at 0:51 is reprising Diana Rigg's/Honor Blackman's/Uma Thurman's role as Emma Peel, right?

I must say, though: somehow, "Mr. Iron Man, we're needed" doesn't have the same ring to it.

Yeah.. Tony gets all the good lines in the trailer, but you know Hawkeye will go quip for quip with him in the movie.

Joss will NOT let us down.

Yeah, heck, he even got an anti-authority quip off in Thor.

For the first few seconds I thought it was a Michael Bay film (what with the explosions and military vehicles).

Seriously some good stuff. Has it been announced who the villain is yet?

(Yes, I know Loki is one of the villains but he's more of a manipulator than a fighter. Shooting up taxi cabs isn't his style. Who is he getting to do his dirty work?)

It is written and directed by Joss Whedon. A fact that I can only adequately address as follows: OMG! OMG! OMG! SQEEEE!

Who better to run a movie full of big damn heroes? Although...just to shock the fans, he ought to have a minor role played by the woman whose TV show he was story editor for, for several long torturous years. Roseanne.

Let's see if I can summarize without seeing it:

Boom.

Blam.

Pow.

No character development.

Forgot to write a damn story again.

In 3D.

Very cool. :) I'm definitely going to be seeing this one. It looks like Joss Whedon's doing right by the characters judging by the trailer.
