That's what it felt like to me, being involved with last night's OVFF Pegasus Nominee concert.

Three hours of kicking ass and taking names. Three hours of great fun, dark drama, heady romance, and incredible music. Three hours of the energy level being so jacked, there was nowhere to go but straight on baybeh.

And, afterwards, three hundred of us milled about and looked for food and hugged and went wow.

I'm quite sure there were a few cigarettes involved.

And now we have today. :D

Stayed out late last night at Art Fight and had a kick-ass time, which is pretty close to the best preparations possible for a completely free weekend with nothing on the schedule. (No, I don't know how it happened either...)

Of course, I've probably doomed myself into busyness by mentioning that I currently have no plans, but I think I could do with an adventure.

The Pegasus Nominees Concert is one of my favorite parts of OVFF... sorry I missed it, but so glad you had such a good time. :-) *hug* For me, paying gigs take priority.

Turned out my cat Sarge has a tumor of some kind near where his stomach, pancreas, and small intestine meet. That's what was causing his problems. The vet took a biopsy and sent it out for testing. I'll know soon if it can be removed or not.

Thought you may want to know since you asked about him last month.

Got Sarge back last night. Vet said not to let him eat too much but that idea pretty much went out the window as he did his impersonation of Hoover (the vacuum not the other one). He spent a lot of time in the bathroom hiding since he was upset about being at the vet overnight and embarrassed at having his tummy shaved.

He's better today. He fought me really hard when I tried to pump fluids into him. I think half of it wound up on the carpet. I also let him go outside (supervised) for a while. If the tumor winds up being a malignant cancer, who knows how many more times he can go outside. But right now he's sitting next to me being himself. I got a fair amount of food into him and he purred a lot when I held him.

I'm so sorry that Sarge has been ill. I hope that the tumor is benign and able to be removed without too much kitty trauma. Hugs to you and to Sarge.
