Dueling Snow Whites
Nov. 18th, 2011 05:56 pmLiterally, in the case of Mirror Mirror. Figuratively, as it goes up against (give or take three months) Snow White and the Huntsman, a much more serious take on the story.
(Note that neither of these is as cool as Snow in
jimhines' Princess series. Just sayin'.)
OF THESE TWO, which are you more interested in seeing, and why?

Date: 2011-11-19 05:03 pm (UTC)It what twisted universe does scrawny Kristen Stewart count in any possible definition of the word as being "fairer" than Charlize Theron?? And why in both of these and "Once Upon A Time" is Snow White out there in armor with a sword??

Date: 2011-11-19 06:58 pm (UTC)And she's out there with a sword because a capable heroine is a good thing, but in the minds of Hollywood scriptwriters she can only be capable if she fights. (How much you want to be, "And loses, and is saved by Her Prince"?)
