Thanksgiving

I give thanks for each and every one of you. You keep me sane, honest, and whole. I love you all, and I hope your holiday is safe, peaceful, and filled with friends, laughter, love, and really good food.

I'm grateful for my family. I spent a lot of time on Thursday just sitting down listening to everyone else talk. It was nice to be in a house with a lot of people. Several of my first-cousins are with child so the next generation of the family is growing. It feels a bit strange. Time marches on I guess. Four generations of one branch of the family in one spot. It's a good thing.

I'm also grateful for my cats who really missed me despite being gone for less than 60 hours. I'm thankful that two are healthy and one is getting better. I'm thankful that I have a home and those who will support me when times are tough.

I'm thankful there is a food bank that helps hundreds of people daily and while I hope I'll never be a client, I am thankful for the chance to help there.
