A century past, not a day less or more,
To his parents at last there was born Theodore.
Quite clever with rhymes, and adept on an easel,
We owe many good times to our dear Doctor Geisel.
(Not really a doc, but each book a house call,
For laughter's the best medicine of them all.)
For Horton, the Lorax, one two fish, red, blue,
For the Grinch and for Max and for Cindy Lou Who,
We give lots of cheers, and I boldly deduce --
In a hundred more years, they'll still love Doctor Seuss.

Seussville (for kids of all ages)

A proper treatment of a certain script in The Editing Room (NOT for kids)

Not to tamper with your rhyme scheme, but to the best of my knowledge, the Good Doctor's name was pronounced Gy-z'l.

Yes, but then it would have been "aesel", and then where would we be? ;)

Criticizing your spelling. Or criticising it if you're British. ;-)

Oh, so _that's_ why...
