I've got some stuff to take care of today, including the update (which will be later this afternoon). In the meantime, go wild.

Plunge!

Anyone else think it's time for Tom to go Bertold-Brechtian on us and start writing political musicals? Iraq: A Comedy is probably too much right now, but it needs to be done. (Imagine the quartet he could write for the singers playing Condi Rice, Donald Rumsfeld, Dick Cheney, and Colin Powell!)

Well, I was working on a project called President Evil for awhile. Never finished it to my satisfaction. Maybe I should kick but on that in July.

And lest we forget, your proposed musical from the previous administration...The Lyin' Ging!

Which reminds me...Circle of Lies is still relevant today, and with a simple substitution of "Lehrer Newshour" for "Macneil Lehrer Hour" should remain so for quite some time to come.

For those who don't know, the lyrics for same are in Tom's Big Book of Stupid Filk Tricks.

Hrm. For some reason, I'm wanting to see that done to the tune of "A Model of Decorum and Tranquility" from the musical CHESS. :)

Once again, I'd like to say "I LOVE YOUNG DOUBLE SLITS!"

That said, I'm eagerly awaiting "Strontium Asp" to come out in Free Stuff. :)

I hope you all remembered that this past Sunday was Mothers Day.

If you didn't, I'm sure you've been given enough of a guilt-trip to be due for frequent-flyer mileage by now.

I got my Mommy a candle. Simple gift, but she loves candles.

What did YOU do for YOUR Mom?
