You might have missed it if you haven't checked out the thread below, or the main web site, but... I finished the last three recordings for The 24-Hour Project. If you haven't got it, and you want to get it, the archive is now complete.
As far as I can determine, I've sent new e-mails with links to the "Special Edition" to everyone who purchased one -- if you haven't got yours, check the folder where your spam filter dumps stuff first, and then e-mail me at filkertom@yahoo.com if you still don't have it. And please do let me know what you think of the last few songs and the extras!

Date: 2004-05-27 03:56 pm (UTC)I'm replacing it as we speak, and you can also download it here (http://www.tomsmithonline.com/software/02-TamalesOfDeath.mp3) if you don't want to go through the whole 30 MB again, or if you just want a free preview.
Arrrrrgh. At least it went right onto the burned CDs.

Although the mental image of bunches of people trying to sing the lips-puckered-shut lines in bars is entirely too amusing...

Date: 2004-05-28 02:22 pm (UTC)I knew you were sick. And I knew you were twisted. And I knew you were sick and twisted. And I even knew how sick and twisted. And I'd read the lyrics when you posted them. And I thought, "Oh, this is cute." And I thought, "I'd love to hear that song performed." And I bought the album. And downloaded it. And loaded it into iTunes. (And had to wait a couple of days for me to have time to actually listen to it, between working and social engagements that kept the laptop unused at home for 2 days.) So I finally got a chance to play the darned thing.
I think I broke my brain. Ow.
(Buy it. Download it. Play it. You know you want to.)
