Update at TSO

Finally got the update tonight. Yeesh -- what a week. Kinda cool Free Stuff, though -- streaming audio of my first attempts at multitrack recording, fifteen freakin' years ago. I'm curious as to what you all think.

Good stuff! Domino Death set my tree frogs to croaking, so I guess they liked it too. It gives a whole new haunting feeling to Starlight & Saxophone. For some reason the idea of singing your own background always makes me giggle. Though, I do think I Wish I Couldn't Read Her Mind does benefit from the feminine touch. :)

Well, as long as I please the frogs. ;) (Gawd, that sounds like a really obscene euphemism....)

"Starlight" is gonna sound not dissimilar to that when I finally do the studio version -- much better quality instrumentation, a saxophone that actually sounds like a saxophone (the borrowed Casio keyboard I used for that didn't have anything that sounded like a sax), better and subtly different harmonies... but that's an example of how I think I got it more or less right in my head the first time, and now it's just a matter of getting it recorded that way.

"Wish I Couldn't": No argument. :) Also, Les's "beige" joke is much funnier.

For the time being, at least, I'm gonna keep 'em streaming only. On the other hand, since two of them (DD and S&S) are going to be re-recorded for Sounds Familiar, which I'm going to get to as soon as I'm done with And They Say I've Got Talent, it won't be long.
