Impatience. I'm trying to finish six different tracks at once. I have to slow down and attack them one at a time, or else nothing'll ever get done.

Meanwhile, I have to get stuff done. Wednesday is the start of the Ann Arbor Art Fairs, and I pretty much have to be done with a few specific errands by Tuesday afternoon and safely parked, or I will have to fight with several hundred people for a parking space in front of my building.

So... what are you guys working on?

I've got 180 pages of scanned documents, each with 5-10 paragraphs. Each paragraph has four pieces of information I need.

I need to put all of this into a spreadsheet. It took me 2 hours to do the first 25 pages on Friday.

I am not looking forward to the next 12 working hours.

Since you asked, I'm trying to get songs written for my next CD. But life keeps getting in the way.

at present, i'm trying to work on my fiction portfolio for grad school while indulging the muse in her tendency to hop from story to story, get a job with borders, pack for a trip to central new york state to see high school friends and go to the renaissance faire, squirrel away for conglomeration, work on making a new costume for marcon, plan a shadowrun campaign as my gamers are restless, and contact my other fangirls about getting copies of the pics from LAST marcon. as calvin and hobbes noticed, the days are just packed. though the recent restoration of my power is likely to make things easier, in that i now can see at night to pack and have access to the bulk of my fiction portfolio, which is at present on the computer. technology is indeed grand, unless the computer is only capable of acting as a rather unattractive paperweight.

another update! i attend an orientation session next week and begin my training as cashier, hopefully to ascend to a sales-floor position within a matter of months. scratch one thing off the to-do list. now it's just portfolio, trip to CNY, conglom, costume, shadowrunning, and pics. what's that i heaar? it's the whisper of free time slipping out the window stealthily. oh, and college starts back up again in about a month. *free time clatters and squawks in its haste to leap out the window*

* Clearing the house of clutter (I swear, plastic grocery sacks breed like rabbits when we're out of the house, so they're going to get preppred for recycling)
* Scanning/OCRing some old computer printouts (articles from Usenet's rec.games.frp from '87-'88 that aren't at Google Groups)
* Attcking the pile of newspapers (mostly free papers)
* Clearing out the garage
* Looking for work

I too am impatient. I see everything that needs to get done and I don't want to put them off.

Rearranging and rewiring my house. When I'm not at work. :)

Each outlet in the office is now on its own 20 amp circuit breaker, with 12 gauge wire. Overkill? Definitely.

I'm trying to figure out how to fit three more eight foot python cages into my room. I think its going to require some major bending of the laws of spatial relations.
