Entirely possible on both counts. Jolie has grown on me a lot the past few years, on account of she can indeed act. I literally didn't think she was all that sexy at first, because the first couple of things I saw her in had her being an exotic looking hottie, and not much else. It's kinda like Trish Stratus in the WWE -- she's been working to be more than a pretty face.
Every Fan I know has looked at AJ in her uniform and eyepatch and thought, "Damn, its Honor"
I'm am SOOO pumped for this movie.
I also think its cool that even before the movie's been release, Hollywood is impressed with the writer/director Kevin C to offer him "Princess of Mars"
Bob Clampett had an option on that for a time before WWII I think. I had the very great pleasure many years ago of going to a tribute to Bob Clampett shortly before he passed away, and amongst the rarities that they screened was a pencil test of a running banth, loping along with many legs on each side. Wow. Now I understand that these clips can now be found on the BEANY AND CECIL DVD and I can get it for my own!
Only problem is that David Weber has made it quite clear that any contract for movie rights will include a clause That Angelina Jolie will not have *anything* to do with an Honor Harrington movie.
It's a long story, but he's not fond of her, and with some reason.
I heard recently that among the people who have worked on Sky Captain is a young lad who recently graduated from USC with a degree in film. His name: Jason Porath. I hope he gets a line in the credits so we can all stand up and applaud.
