Here's a little game I'm trying to make popular at filk-meets called the "Every Rose Challenge". It's where you take the chorus from "Every Rose Has Its Thorn" by Motley Crue and try to come up with a spoof for it, maintaining the first and last lines and the rhyme scheme. Allow me to demonstrate...
First, the original:
Every rose has its thorn Like every day has its dawn Like every cowboy sings a sad, sad song Every rose has its thorn
And now, my variation:
Every rose has its thorn Like Iowa has its corn Like Halle Barrie really sucks as Storm Every rose has its thorn
Shall we play a game?

And to answer your question, just like the original, it just sort of ambigously needs to rhyme with "thorn", on a purely phoenetic level.
