Date: 2004-09-15 12:12 pm (UTC)Come on. So-called "real life" is stranger than fiction, because fiction has to make sense. Take the real history of the space program. The first man to walk on the moon was Neil Armstrong, All-American Boy and his faithful sidekick Buzz. The first American woman in space was Ride, Sally Ride. Who writes this crap? Come on, it's all a joke universe.
Why then is it not funnier?

Date: 2004-09-15 12:34 pm (UTC)Also, I and some friends have just launched a website, www.kerryoniraqwar.com, to fight the Republican spin on Kerry's position on Iraq. Iraq is a crucial issue in this campaign, and if we can turn things around in the next month in terms of who's telling the truth on Iraq and who isn't, it can change everything. It would help if people visit the site and get the word out by telling people about the site and posting the banner and slogan in LJs and on their webpages.

This is the SAME bob barr that wanted to deny Wiccans the right to freely practice our religion on army bases.
Which I do not agree with.
OUCH.
whose brain is rearranging more? Mr. Barr used to be a very staunch supporter of shrub & co, IIRC.

Of course, now that we can all own AK-47s, I'm beginning to wonder if some crazy might not be thinking of a more direct route to solving these problems.
