Now I can die happy. I have truly seen it all! Priceless. *sending a link to this site to our IT dept*

That would make the perfect gag gift to give to my kid sister for her birthday. It's so hard to top the origami boulder I gave her a couple of years ago.

Hm. I wonder how one gets the cake out. In the kid's model, you push it through the oven, I think. Doing that in my PC would get the thing chopped up by the cooling fan. And who wants caffienated meatloaf in their power supply? :)

Not sure, but I'd bet it's just like a CD tray -- push a button, it ejects back out the front.

Unfortunately, if you try to add it to your cart, you will find that it's a gag. Although, the fact that it has negative geek points is probably a hint.

Yeah. But we all want one anyway, don't we? And you know that someone out there is trying to figure out a real way to do it.

There's at least one book out on cooking on your car's engine. Presumably the same principles can be applied here: wrap some veggies, rice, and chicken in a tortilla, wrap that in tin foil, and put it on top of your Pentium 4's heat sink. Play Doom 3 for 45 minutes. Enjoy.

I had wondered about that. Damn!!

Looks like Tom got "Punk'd", just like the town of Riverside, Iowa. (http://www.scifi.com/scifiwire/art-tv.html?2004-09/30/11.30.tv)

I could deny it, but I actually did. But I know I'm not the only one. ;) And you know at least a few of us had to get all the way to the "Add To Cart" stage , i.e., budgeting the money and getting out the credit card, to find out.

It was the dehydrated caffienated meatloaf that tipped me off. I always wanted an EZ bake when I was a kid and never got one. I was hoping for an excuse... *sigh*
