When I voted, it was about 40%-40%. That, along with some shmuck letting slip a fake news story that they're calling a joke and a mistake (http://www.dailykos.com/story/2004/10/1/161744/276#150), adds up to a lousy day to be at Faux News.
Re: that fake story, I caught it on ABC's site before the debate. Looked to be a pre-written review, mostly bland but with a little pro-Bush tilt thrown in. I pulled a copy before the link died.
I guess Fox News doesn't want to release this sensitive information to commie pinko liberals like me, because I still don't see it.

Maybe it's because I'm using a subversive browser (Konqueror). Oh, well. It does mean that as far as I can tell, the image that Tom provided is correct.
This whole talk of "winning" a debate, as if it were an arm-wrestling contest, is a bit annoying, if not a bit dangerous. Yes, there's certainly a sense of who carried themselves better, and who made the better points, but it's much less important who "wins" or "loses" the debate than what is actually said therein. Worrying so much about "win" or "lose" diverts necessary attention from the content.
You're not wrong, but part of winning is arguing your effectively, and a huge aspect of that is whether your argument can be refuted. On that one, Dubya came out a double loser -- he couldn't respond to most of Kerry's charges with anything but a talking point, and he couldn't make any accusations stick, because Kerry had a documentable rebuttal ready every time.
And Dubya's response to Kerry's plan to secure the borders -- paraphrasing, "I wonder how he's gonna pay for that" -- opened the huge, hideous weakness that it sure looks as if the tax cuts and throwing money at Iraq is more important than actually protecting the country from terrorists....
