From the blog of William Gibson (yes, that William Gibson) comes this lovely joke from John Cleese:
How many Bush administration officials does it take to change a light bulb?

None. There’s nothing wrong with that light bulb. There is no need to change anything. We made the right decision and nothing has happened to change our minds. People who criticize this light bulb now, just because it doesn’t work anymore, supported us when we first screwed it in, and when these flip-floppers insist on saying that it is burned out, they are merely giving aid and encouragement to the Forces of Darkness.

Possibly the wrong place to put this- but did you hear that Sinclair backed off partially on their anti-Kerry preemptive propaganda piece? They got so tanked, by investors, member stations, viewers, etc.- that they decided to cut it down to a part of a documentaries about propaganda. :)

That would be funnier if it weren't so damn true.

Oh man...
Now that's a hoot, and so damn true too.
Trust John Cleese to come up with that, [and I can just hear him saying it too!]
