Good morning, all! Well, OVFF is done for another year. The con itself was great, but it was kind of a rough weekend. huskiebear's mom passed away on Friday, and another close friend had an extremely busy and overworked weekend, and I myself got almost no damn sleep. I have much to do the next few days, so consider this an open thread. I'll be in as often as I can.

One of the coolest ways to get more mileage out of a game is with mods and the occasional total conversion. But the coolest -- and, admittedly, the hardest -- is when some enterprising souls start retexturing and/or remodelling the game's elements using updated graphics engines.

Filk fans--and particularly Tom's fans--ought to be aware of how huskiebear's mom was understanding and supportive of Pretzel Productions' endeavors. Remember DeBasement Tapes? Well, guess whose basement they were created in? Yep, huskiebear's Mom's. So even if you never met her, remember her with kindness and thanks. She was a fine lady.
