Just packin' up. I've got Whose Line? at 1:00, with [personal profile] billroper, [profile] daisy_knotwise, and [personal profile] cadhla, [personal profile] ericcoleman moderating.

I got in "Smash the Frickin' Fairies" and "The Folker" (or whatever it's called) last night, carefully chosen and timed, and they went over well. It was a really good sing for awhile. I also had the chance to talk with Trace, Mark Peters, and Kathy about OVFF and MarCon. And I got lots of hugs. Lovely, lovely weekend.

How's by you?

ETA: Dunno why I thought [profile] markbernstein was involved. I guess because I've done improv with him before. :)

/me imagines Eric Coleman in Drew Carey glasses and giggles. He is *so* going to hurt me when he sees me at MarsCon for this :-)

Sounds like you had a good time, glad to hear it!!

Busy.

Bought various things for various projects in the TORENTIAL DOWNPOUR we had yesterday. Most of the stuff stayed dry, though I admit to test-driving my mother's Christmas present: I got her an umbrella. (She said she wanted one...) I'd left mine in the car, you see.

Rain eventually stopped. We went to a rather low-key Halloween party last night. Didn't get home until 3:30 am. I was so tired, I actually slept until 8:30 this morning! (I'm so lazy...)

Today, I managed to do the thrift-store run and mail off the latest store orders. I know it's Sunday and there's no delivery today, but if they're sitting in the post-office, they are no longer my problem.

I also managed to get rid of a whole bunch of empty cardboard boxes, and prep a "care package" I'm sending.

Of course, I still need to do about a zillion other chore-type things... But that's a typical non-con "weekend" for me. (Day off? What's that?)

Rob's either asleep or writing more Erfworld stuff in the bedroom.

It was a great pleasure as always to have been in the same space with you for a conish weekend. We actually delayed our departure to watch you in "Whose Line". Saturday's filk was wonderful with so many people in "the big room" And we got a chance to talk with Leslie in the hall, which is indeed a rare pleasure. As we often say about filk..."Friends are the family we choose."

I fear that I may have done myself harm from laughing at the Whose Line is It? routines - the entire crew was brilliant. The usual amazing talent at OVFF - Sunday alone would have been worth the fee; Thursday night through Sunday afternoon - simply astounding. Thanks, Tom. (and everyone else, too!)

Srry I missed the whole thing. Did you meet my cousin Yehuda?

(That will put you one up on me; we haven't met yet.)

I believe I did, not knowing he was your cousin.

There was a point at which Whose Line and the juried one shots were programmed against each other. He was one of the jury.

I thin k my all time favorite bit of WLiiA was party quirks- you being Seannan! You nailed her and it hi-larious to see. Especially with Roper being a penguin at the same time.

and the FuMP concert was total win! I'd spend my whole OVFF membership just for that one concert!

Greta to see you (and I'll get to you soon about the buttons)
