How can you miss with a cast like Steve Martin, Kevin Kline, Jean Reno, and the delectable Beyonce Knowles?
Take a look.
Peter Sellers and Herbert Lom are logging some serious RPMs here. (Well, okay, Mr. Lom is still with us. But, even so....)

There are MANY MANY films that just DO Not need to be remade. And no matter how much I love Steve Martin and Kevin Kline, the "Pink Panther" is NOT a film that needed to be remade, PERIOD!

The original Pink Panther movies rode the fine line between utter idiocy and comedy genius. Often enough, even Mr. Sellers fell on the wrong side of that line. I won't be at all surprised if this crew fails to do the same balacing act.
