huskiebear is giving me a ride out to my brother's place today with replacement parts for my poor hapless car. Then we go back to her place; I help her clean, I do my laundry, we make sloppy joes. Dunno what we're gonna watch; I know what we're
not gonna watch.
So.
What are
you doing today, if you're not watching
that stupid game?

Date: 2005-02-06 06:04 pm (UTC)I have umpteen things to do, and several books to finish (I'm less than 150 pages from the end of Quicksilver, so by now it's become a point of pride: I will finish it). But I suspect I'll wind up catching up on LJ, then watching Buffy and/or the third Gamera movie while the cats shed up my nose and dig divots in my shoulders.

In 1983, we went off during the game to watch GANDHI, figuring the theater would be less crowded. During intermission, the usher announced the score of the game. If we were interested, why wouldn't we be home watching it? Never understood what his thinking was.

Oh, and this might come in handy.
