i do have one reservation about seeing the film, which is that it's obviously so spectacular that it will probably usurp my own imagination in terms of how things look in the story. through all of the different versions, even the tv series, i've always had my own private director's cut in my head, with very specific production design. on april 29, i expect to have my personal VHS copy recorded over.
ah, well, i'll just try to compartmentalize...
