56°. How beautiful. And 57° tomorrow, and 65° on Wednesday.

Sigh. Spring is here at last.

So, how's your Monday going?

I have indigestion. I had to eat a sales person for breakfast for promising something that my department can't implement.

The spring part should be here tomorrow, though. Right now it's 43 F in Nashville and that is just wrong for this time of year.

No dammit, and they leave a right sour taste in the mouth. Fortunately, I have Spearmint Altoids in my purse.

Spearmint Altoids are proof that there is some good in the world.

rain. rain. and more rain. but on the up side, i've made my decision regarding whether to kill myself going full time or find another way to get health insurance during this year i'll be out of school (gonna find another way, it's saner) and i'm catching up on my homework. i'd be happier if i wasn't so sleepy all the time.

Raining here but I don't care. I'm actually getting work done today and Mama comes home from the nursing home tomorrow. We now have hot water. There are homemade brownies in the fridge. Life is good.

Rain here too in "sunny California." Shfu. And we had just gotten a new couch and put our old-but-not-broken sofabed outside, Free To Good Home. Squoogy yuk.

Pretty darn good. :) Had a nice walk across campus and back (since I had an errand on central campus), and was overjoyed at the warmth and wind.

Plus the Diag is always a hoot this time of year - first sign of spring and students are out in shorts and tanks, sunning themselves and playing frisbee.

There was some sort of weird Greek thing going on, with a woman in a dunk tank. I actually got to see her get dunked, poor thing, probably froze her ass off.

But yes, spring, whee! :)

Yay for Spring in A2/Ypsi. No one was doing anything nearly as exciting on EMU's diag, but there was a squirrel gorging itself on someone's discarded sunflower seeds (both when I went for lunch and came back) and that amused me. :)

I've got a swamp in my living room due to my building having inadequate drainage for the back yard. At least none of my electronics got damaged before I put them up, and I had a nice and satisfying growl at great length at my landlady over my lunch break.

Guess who's moving apartments soon?

Well, I'm still breathing, capable of using all my limbs to full capacity and, if this message is any indication, possess the the ability of higher cognizsance (sp?), so I suppose that's a good start.

Alas, the drawback to having a functional mind is usually having a lot on it.

I'll leave it up to you good folk as to whether or not I elaborate.

Work is going - slowly, but not frustratingly or anything, it's just sort of there. Kid is on Spring Break, so she's been outside for 3 of the 6 and a half hours she's been awake, which is nice. Going to the library tonight. Exciting stuff, I tell you.

It's a high of 75 degrees here, and that's a cold spell. But I'm also in southern Texas... so it's to be expected.

I have a job interview early this evening. And I'm ready to go totally bazonkers!!!

Sorry to intrude on your comment, but I can't resist saying that "Bazonkers" sounds like the name of a theme restaurant that features scantily clad wait staff serving wings. ;)

Its 83 here in Texas today. In fact our whole winter has been pretty mild, barely even necessitating breaking out a coat... but like everyone else has said, rain rain, go away.

We're getting more heat than the old nWo down here, though the nights are still barmy--errr, balmy. Work is work; mainly [livejournal.com profile] argentee and I are just nervous about her father's gastric bypass surgery. If all goes well, in about 16 hours, we'll all be thanking heaven it's over.

And there I go venting again.
